Abedah is an emerging teacher based in Johannesburg.
Her yoga journey began in 2014 and continues to flourish to date.
She spent 2 years maintaining her own asana practice and went on to complete a 300 HR Hatha yoga certification.
She has completed a 50 HR Yin Yoga certification as well.
Abedah finds her drive to teach yoga is rooted in developing a sustainable mindfulness practice that boosts mental and physical resilience.
Abedah is also a Death Doula - she completed an End of Life Care course with Going with Grace in 2020.
In 2021, she received a diploma in Bereavement Counselling through the Blackford Center.
She is currently studying Psychology and Counselling.
"There is so much to learn from facilitating a space for yogis to safely explore their bodies. As a teacher, I am passionate about making yoga accessible for people of all walks of life."
Expect classes with easy-to-follow sequencing and modifications of postures - making it an experience for all levels.
"My teaching style continues to evolve. I explore the potential of the human body through movement.
I have found roots in trail running, hiking, indoor rock climbing, weight training, slack-lining and AcroYoga.
I constantly draw inspiration from my environment and experienced, charismatic teachers who motivate me to continue serving the global community with the power of yoga."
